£ MONEY, MONEY, MONEY £

The Treasurer is responsible for:

• looking after the finances
• collecting subscriptions and money due
• paying bills
• keeping financial records and making sure money is spent properly
• ensuring all cash and cheques are paid into the bank or building society promptly
• issuing receipts when needed
• reporting on the financial position to the committee members
• preparing an end of year statement of accounts and a budget plan for the next year
