A good Chairperson will
- be well informed about the activities of the club or organisation
- be able to represent the club
- chair meetings so that everyone has a chance to present their view
- ensure planning and budgeting for the future takes place
- be a good listener who is diplomatic and helpful
- make sure other committee members are kept informed and up to date
- help the Secretary and Treasurer with their roles
