Australia - Friday 11 May 2007
Wales put up a spirited fight against Australia (2nd in the World rankings) on Friday 11 May at the Welsh Institute of Sport. It was a great learning curve for all the young players especially the two new caps for the Wales team - Ffion Berry and Jo Davies. This game will form part of the Welsh team's preparation for the World Championships in November 2007.

Congratulations
to three of our Welsh Netball staff - Amy Willis, Claire Knowles and
Louise Carter - who all successfully completed the Cardiff Half Marathon
on Sunday 15 October. Claire and Louise were both running on behalf
of the RNLI - if anyone would like to add to their sponsorship efforts,
please contact the Welsh Netball office on 02920 237048.
Neither Claire or Louise had covered this distance before, but Amy had
completed the London Marathon in April, so thirteen miles was easy!!!
Well done girls.
