Identifying and developing Netball talent in Wales is vital on an ongoing basis. New young players are essential if Wales is to hold its World Ranking and improve upon it. The career of an international Netball player lasts, on average, 8 years with retirements usually following a major championship such as the World Championships.

In the knowledge that nurturing talent also takes several years it is important that potential future players are also identified as early as possible. Welsh Netball has established a network of Talent Centres across the Principality to do just that.
