STUDENT BURSARY

What is the student bursary scheme?

This scheme aims to encourage more students to enter the coaching profession by providing them with the opportunity to utilize their skills, in a sport that they love, while developing their coaching knowledge and experience.

Aim of the scheme:

  • To appoint student bursary coaches to work in junior clubs across Wales
  • To increase the volunteer workforce to ensure sustainability in junior netball clubs
  • To improve the amount, and quality of coaching in junior netball clubs
  • To provide a supportive environment for student coaches to enter the coaching profession

  • If you feel that you are ready to attend a UKCC level 2 course (worth £360) you will be required to complete 80 hours of voluntary coaching. Not only will you be funded to attend the UKCC level 2 course you will also be funded to attend a recognised first aid course and Sports
