Welsh Netball have now established 8 High Performance HUBS across Wales which are entering their second year of operation.
These are the first stepping stones to enter into the Welsh Netball High Performance Pathway.
Members of the High Performance Hubs are the Emerging Talent Pool. This pool is selected at all our Welsh Netball Domestic events during the season. The top 20 athletes from each age group are identified and automatically brought into the pool and at the end of season invited to attend trials which is where the next stepping stone is selected - the Young Internationals - who make up the potential U15/U17/U19/U21 squads for the Netball Europe competitions.
There are 8 HUBS and each player has been assigned to their HUB geographically. Each HUB trains once a month where the coaches follow a training programme devised by the Welsh Netball High Performance Head Coach.
