Q. How can I join a netball club?
A. Details for junior and senior clubs are available on this website otherwise contact the development officer who works in the area that you live, names and email addresses in staff section.

Q. I need information for my project, where can I find it?
A. Browse the website all the background information and history of netball as well as up to date details can be easily found.

Q. My club needs a coach, where can we get one?
A. Go straight to the coaching section on the website, the best way is to find someone in your club to train and take on the role of coach. Contact your local netball development officer they will be able to give you help and guidance. They may even know someone who wants to help.

Q. Where does my affiliation money go?
A. All affiliation money goes towards providing services to members and some general administration costs of Welsh Netball. (Your money does not go towards the salary costs of the development officers or the WIS Netball Academy players or any other elite netball, all that money comes from Sport Wales grant funding.)

Q. I want to go on a netball course, where can I find details?
A. All course details and contacts are listed in the coaching and umpiring sections of this website, take a look and you should find one to suit your needs. If there’s nothing there, ring your development officer, they will know if there are extra courses planned.

  Q. Where can I buy netball equipment?
A. Welsh Netball sells netballs, bibs, books, videos, kit…etc the list is endless. Go to the resources section and download an order form.

Q. My club needs money to continue, how can we raise funds?
A. There are loads of ways you can raise money and have fun at the same time. Try a jumble sale, a disco, a sponsored shooting session, a cheese and wine evening, there's lots of ideas to start you off. If you want to set up a junior section or develop your club into a stronger larger club you may like to consider applying for a grant. Take a look at the 'grants available to netball clubs' on the home page, then contact your local development officer.

Q. Am I insured when I play netball?
A. If you are an individual member and have paid your affiliation fee, then yes you are insured for certain things. Read the members insurance section on the website for full details.

Q. What do I get for my affiliation?
A. There is a huge list of benefits linked with individual affiliation, members insurance being a very important one (see insurance section) including hospital benefit, as well as the structure within which we all play including all events and player pathways. More direct and money saving offers for members include reduced rates for umpire and coaching courses, reduced price international match tickets, special offer purchases via the members section of the website, and many more netball opportunities.
